TV Shows Return After The Writer’s Strike
Now that the writers are back from strike, I simply cannot wait until the return of my favorite shows. I’m like the little giddy kid on Christmas who cannot wait to tear into his (and others’) presents.
Here’s what I’m enjoying so far and what I’m looking forward to;
- I’m already enjoying the last part of the 2nd season of Jericho.
- I’ve been also consoled by watching the new episodes of Medium, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.
- Some of my new favorite shows that I’ve gotten a chance to watch are New Amsterdam and The Sarah Connor Chronicles (season one has already wrapped up).
- My usual list of The Unit , Cold Case , Ghost Whisperer (a show I watch with my wife – for many reasons), Moonlight and Without A Trace should be also coming back.
- Some shows I got into before the strike were Life and Journeyman. I hope the networks see fit to bring them back.
I have a few others, but before I reveal them I want to ask you…
What shows are you looking forward to?

Hi Thaiphoon! I cannot wait, WAIT til Grey’s Anatomy returns with new eps. Reality TV is OUT.OF.CONTROL. I’m hoping with the easing in of new eps of our fave shows, some of these Reality shows will fade away. I’m sad to say, but I’ve been consoled with eps of the Family Guy. Hilarious! BTW, I caught the last 1/2 hour of New Amsterdam last night. Never watched it before. Cool concept. Hope it stays around. I’m also anxious for Ghost Whisperer to get back to new eps as well.
Damn did Saucy hit the nail on the head. Reality TV is just out of control.
Reading your list made me realize I need to catch up with the times and invest in a Tivo or something. I just don’t know if I have room for it next to my 8-track and turn table. Maybe if I move the reel-to-reel over a bit I could fit one in.
Only thing on my radar right now 1) final season of BSG 2) previous season of BSG available on DVD today! I just love the talkies, don’t you? So much better than the silent movies I’m so accustomed to.
Gotta go. Rotary phone is ringing.
Hey ToxicDave,
Wow! You have a rotary phone?? Where can I get me one of those? These damn tin cans and string aren’t what they used to be.
Hi, Saucy – I smoke-signaled you directions to the rotary phone shop but it’s kinda windy so don’t know if you got it.
I looked for flashes from your signal mirror to indicate a response but never saw one.
