The Origin of the “Top 5″
From time to time my coworkers and I talk about the movies that have come out. The conversation always turns to which actress is the best looking. The other guys have no trouble coming up with a name but I always tell them that I can only narrow it down to a “Top 5″.
Three of the Top 5 Hottest Actresses in Hollywood are permanent residents on my list. The “Final 2″ rotate in and out just so I can give a chance to the new face-of-the-week.
So without further delay, here are The 5 Hottest Actresses in Hollywood.
First, the “Permanent 3″
Heading up our list is Thandie Newton

Thandie was born in London, England. Her mother is from Zimbabwe and her father is British.
She has appeared in such films as The Chronicles of Riddick and the Oscar winning movie Crash.
Her first big hit was the movie Mission Impossible II.
Thandie was once ranked #48 in Stuff magazine’s “102 Sexiest Women in the World”.
I think they were about 47 spots off.
#2 on the list is Kristen Kreuk

Kristen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her father is Dutch and her mother is Chinese.
Her first big break came in the Canadian teen-series called Edgemont.
Her next job was equally as big when she landed the role of Lana Lang in Smallville.
She is slated to appear this year in the newest movie of the “Street Fighter” franchise, titled; Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li.
I can’t wait to see her on the big screen
The final permanent member of the 5 Hottest Actresses in Hollywood is…

Catherine was born in London, England. Her mother is Iranian and I believe her father is British. Catherine’s first big break came when she was cast in the TV series, JAG.
Her most recent series, Army Wives, was a smash hit this past summer.
Not many people also know that she appeared briefly in Death Becomes Her. Her part? She was the nude body double for Isabella Rossellini .
Sadly, she was not credited for this work.
So there are my “Permanent 3″ of the Hottest 5 Actresses in Hollywood. Stay tuned in the near future when I reveal my “Final 2″.

My top 5? I’d have to go with Jessica Alba, Summer Glau (Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles), Allison Mack (Chloe from Smallville), Jenna Fischer (The Office. She has that girl next door appeal), Jessica Biel. Not necessarily in that order.

Yes, I have to agree that one of the 2 Jessica’s (or both) might make an appearance on my Final 2.
Summer Glau is also in the running as well (love that show).
Summer has the look of that girl you knew in high school that was way too hot for anyone that wasn’t the Captain of the football team.
Kathy Bates for the win….drool… She was the lead in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Tombraider, right? …no?
